How to be organized and reduce stress

I love being organized. My friends always joke about how organized I always am. If I went through my entire organization strategy, you may think "wow, this is a lot" and you would honestly be right. That being said, my organization strategies have helped me minimize burn out, avoid decision fatigue, and devote time to focusing on other things. Define what you want your outcome to be
If you define what you want your specific outcome to be, you'll be able to iron out the steps that you need in order to achieve that goal. For example, if I want to organize my spice cabinet, my goal wouldn't be to simply say "I want my spice cabinet to be organized". Instead, I would say "I want to be able to know where all of the spices are right when I open the cupboard". That added layer of specification will help you start to figure out the clearer steps will ensure that you will create an organization strategy that sticks.
Place things in a way that are easily retrievable and memorable
The key to staying organized is to have a structure that can't be easily unorganizable but also a way that you'll know exactly where to put it. For example if I'm organizing my spices in a cupboard, I may put the sweet spices in the top shelf and the spicy spices in the bottom shelf. It makes things easy to remember when it's time to put things back and also makes things easier to find.
Invest in the tools that will make things easier for you
Don't be afraid to spend a little extra time to make things easier for you. If you're trying to organize your client projects for example. Considering using a tool like Airtable or Telelgram to streamline communications. If you're trying to organize your pantry, consider investing in containers to label everything in a way that is clear and legible. All of this may take a little bit of work initially, but at the end of the day the weight will be lifted from your shoulders.
Stick With It
You've put in the time and energy to create an organization strategy that will simplify your life and clear some headspace. Now you have to make sure you stick with it! While it may be easier sometimes to not have everything organized, it's not worth the stress of doing it all over again. Create a plan and make sure you follow through. Or at least allow yourself to bounce back.
Being organized has reduced a lot of stress and anxiety for me. I take comfort in knowing where things are and knowing how I can find what I'm looking for. I feel more productive and feel that i can do more every day.
